Exceptional service the entire process from educating me on windows to the installation. After tons of research, I chose Brothers Home Improvement ultimately because two neighbors recommended them as well. Their installers have 20+ years working for the company, and they are family-owned. All employees of the company, at every level, were responsive and personable. Everyone worked hard and seemed to genuinely care about their job. They were a team. I experienced this throughout the entire process. I had an issue with my window sills at the end of the install...they respectfully and quickly made it right. I appreciate their individualized customer service. I just had all of my windows replaced by Brothers, and I could not be happier!  Luis was phenomenal and not only explained everything he was going to do, but also did the work systematically and with great attention to detail.  He and John were meticulous and cleaned up after every window before they went on the next.  They also took care to lay out tarps to keep our home clean.  The windows look great and work well.  Luis also took the time to reinstall the brackets for all of my blinds, which was incredibly kind and helpful, and enabled me to quickly and easily put my blinds back up. I especially liked that the interior window casing and exterior siding did not have to be damaged in order to do the replacement, which saved a lot of hassle and expense. Hello from San Diego! Brothers Improvement installed Simonton windows and doors on my home nearly 20 years ago and they have stood the test of time! Their warranty is a promise that they have responded to with superior customer service; clouded doir glass, windows and door screen replacements, and recently door track and wheel replacements along with adjusting the screen door. Oscar scheduled the installation and Abel installed the new door track and wheels. He also adjusted the screen door; now it opens and closes and locks well! Praise God for Tina/Custiomer service, Oscar/Install scheduler and Abel/Installer; and Brothers Improvement for keeping their promise and performing an exemplary job and service. Thank you so much! Their service was prompt- next day! Amazing company! I received multiple quotes for a unique kitchen window, and this company stood out as the most professional by far. Their communication, knowledge, and attention to detail truly set them apart. I also greatly appreciated that they offer a military discount, which is not something all window companies provide and speaks to their values as a business. TJ, the manager, personally came to my home to take measurements and even contacted the owner to ensure they could accommodate my specific request. That level of thoroughness and commitment from the very beginning gave me complete confidence in their team. Although my window installation is scheduled for a few weeks from now, my decision was also reinforced by the excellent experience they provided when installing my brother’s windows two years ago, the results were outstanding and have held up beautifully. The team at Brothers was great from start to finish. From the sales team (Anthony for us), to the the phone coordination and installation team, the process was easy. Installation was done in a few hours (3 windows). They did the unit next door in the same day, so could easy do a larger home in a day too. Removed old windows and put in new ones without cutting into the walls. It's amazing the difference these windows make for reducing noise from outside (we had original 1980s windows for this unit). We highly recommend this team for your window replacement needs. It's a custom window build, so allow time for them to be built (no one turns around custom sized windows in a week). Brothers have impressed me through every interaction I had with their  Home Improvement team (15 full construction Window replacements and 2 Doors in my case). Jessie,  the outside sales person who met with us was a really nice guy who takes pride in the service and products this tight knit family business provides. Having worked his way up from the installing team he had "hands on" experience that really lent over when reviewing window options and installation choices. It was an easy decision to go with Brothers when comparing their prices on the Simonton window offering and accompanying warranty. The scheduling, measuring and installation process was also top notch. Everyone was super knowledgeable and really focused on customer satisfaction. The 3 lead installers were VERY capable with a lot of experience in construction and carpentry. They were also conscientious in their clean-up and never left an unsealed opening before they left for the day. As an overall observation, a job with this many windows can run longer than anticipated. My construction went out for two weeks primarily due to the City Permitting process in Santa Cruz  and the discovery of dry rot that Brothers stepped up and fixed (again great carpentry work on the fix). They have the best customer service we have ever experienced. The windows come with a lifetime warranty, which they honor without difficulty. We had Brothers replace all of our downstairs windows in 2019. In the six years since, we’ve had two minor issues, which they came out and addressed quickly. In fact, the second was a leak that was not completely caused by their window, but they came out in the rain and fixed it without charge. We had our upstairs windows replaced in 2025. They noticed that there was a small crack in one of the windows (one we had not noticed) and advised us that they would be ordering a new one. We just finished having all 21 of our windows and sliding glass doors replaced. We couldn't be happier with the process from the initial quote to installation process. Roch, their expert sales person was very personable and informative. He didn't just disappear after we accepted the quote. He was available for questions and concerns along the way and even showed up on site, the first day of installation. We were a little worried after day 2 because we didn't like a couple of things that were done. Day 3 was all about doing the finishing touches and they addressed our concerns and fixed them to beyond our satisfaction. All of the guys who did the installation work were very kind and polite. Amazing experience. Brother's Home Improvement came to my house to measure and estimate my job. Geoff was professional and did not make us feel pressured to buy. He set expectations for the project and I cannot think of anything that did not go to plan. The products came in ahead of schedule and the install took a day for the whole house. Living in El Dorado County, the heat through our old windows was brutal but now it is silent in the house and our air conditioner works 1/4 of the amount it did before. Brothers installed 2 windows in my upstairs windows and did a great job! They ordered the windows I wanted and said they should be delivered and installed in 6-8 weeks. They arrived in that time frame with no hitches. They called and set up a time to install that very same week! The crew arrived on the dot, introduced themselves and explained everything regarding the process. What a nice, polite, happy crew they were too! Hello Nevada!  Our neighbors in Gardnerville suggested Brothers when we asked for referrals. They said the firm did a great job and did not mess up their stucco, which is a big deal around here. We got three different bids for window Replacement of 20 windows and Jake at Brothers was awesome. He was low key and product and service focused. His price was more than fair. He did a deep dive on quality of the windows we ultimately chose. Easy to do business with. The next step was TJ, the expert measurer. He came here and nailed it. Then I decided to go to their shop in Reno to check things out. Ship Shape!  So we moved forward and haven’t looked back. The installers: Kevin, Luiz, Raoul and Adrian were phenomenal. I bought windows from Brothers 20 years ago. They cut the original openings down to legal size for bedrooms, and also cut the dining room and living room windows down to let more light in. They did a wonderful job and recently when I had a small issue with the handle/ lock on the slider, they came right out and adjusted it for me lickety split!  And there was no charge. We contacted Brothers and they immediately assigned a technician (Gabe) to assist us.  He was courteous, knowledgeable and totally professional. Installation was fast trouble free and very quick. The installation crew went out of their way to help me out and make everything go trouble-free and easy. Highly recommended,  lifetime warranty means lifetime warranty.  20 years later,  our windows were having condensation issues with the stationary windows.  Brothers replaced all 3, and replaced the "fuzz" in the sliders on our balcony.  No cost to us. We had them replace all the screens that were 20 years old and they charged us $140 for everything.  So happy it seems after 20 years we have brand new windows and the big British guy had everything sliding and working to perfection.. Tina oversaw the whole process.  Our thanks to all. On August 25, 2023 I met with Brothers home improvement Inc salesman Jake at my 20 year old home. All my windows were leaking from the time I purchased the home in 2016, and during the California fires, my home was smelling like smoke, and we knew that we would have to change out the windows. Jake was very professional, and very thorough with each measurement and gave me a bid. At that time I also had five other bids from other companies. My bids range for 19 windows, from $9200-$103,000. This was all for standard windows with LE3/argon gas, for all glass is temper in entry and bathrooms. Brothers home improvement was not the cheapest company that I received a bid from, but was very competitive and their product was superior. About two weeks after we were giving the bid, we decided to go with Brothers, home-improvement. We called Jake, signed the contract and gave our deposit. The windows were ordered, and Jeremy was now our contact until day of installation. Brothers, Home, Improvement, has financing outside of their company. We chose our own‘s financing. Several times in this process I had questions and Jeremy had my answers on October 23, 2023 at 9:30 AM, the crew to install was at my door they worked diligently until 3:30 PM Pacific standard time to install the first 11 windows. On October 24, 2023 at 9:30 AM Pacific standard time again, the crew started and finished the remaining eight and was gone by 2:30 PM. These windows are superior to any house I have had, built or have rented out in my lifetime. I’ll give this company a 110%. I had five companies come and share their brand of windows with me.  The last company was Brothers Home Improvement Inc. with Jake as the salesperson.  While he didn’t share the model showing the benefits between single pane, double pane and triple pane as I had already seen it; he did share the process of retrofitting the new windows into the existing framework that the other four didn’t share.  Unlike other companies that remove the head, apron and side casings, Brothers doesn’t as to not disturb the integrity of the window and house’s insulation.   The Simonton windows I selected has a slim design as to maximize the amount of light coming into my home, but not the heat/cold.  Brothers has a triple measurement process as to ensure that the American-made windows fit perfectly.  I had a full team of Kevin, Luis, Raul, Diego and Ignacio that worked well together as they are all employees and not sub-contractors.  They were on-time, cleaned up after themselves, cleaned the windows with no smudges before leaving and easily completed the job in one day.  Pricewise, Brothers was the best value for my 14 windows. Windows were installed in November, 2022. Today, 96 degrees and for the first time in 15 years, my house is a cool 74 degrees in the heat today!!!!! Oh I am so happy I could dance! This is huge! They were able to give me a no nonsense quote, expedite the delivery/installation date and when I found a downgrade of missing lock in one of the windows compared to previous one, they arranged a lock installation free of cost. ****UPDATE****:  I have updated my rating based on some recent communication with Brothers.  Upon seeing my review here, the company contacted me to get more information as they were confused on the details.  The issues that I experienced had not been elevated to management at the time.  As we discussed the problems on the phone  I expressed that I truly understood the issues and I was simply upset at the communication.  They offered to come look at the Windows to verify everything and figure out a solution.  I had told them it wasn't necessary since I had already installed everything and we're pretty far out so I didn't want anyone to have to drive out there. I was happy they had expressed some concern with the customer service issues.  Without prompting, Brothers called me back the next day with an offer of a refund to make things right.  This was not requested nor expected.  The comments about being very customer service based were not just lip service.  They followed through.  As such, I wanted to come on here to update the community that even though I had an issue with one individual at the company, overall the experience was great. ORIGINAL REVIEW: While anyone building during COVID knows, production issues are rampant and have become the normal.  I was expecting these and do not hold Brothers responsible.  We did have one window that wasn't including in the original shipment of 19 windows.  Initially, Brother's was great and was looking into it and got it re-ordered. However, upon pickup, the window was the incorrect size.  I had to uninstall a couple windows that were already installed, reframe multiple window openings and shuffle windows around to make it work, and the company didn't even offer to give me a partial discount even though the window was smaller than the one I had ordered.  While not worth the time or money it would take to fight it, I did want to post here so others were aware of this problem. About 13 years ago, I had most of the windows in my house replaced by Brothers Home Improvement. They did a great job, and I’ve been very happy with the windows. Just recently, there was a problem with one of the windows not closing and locking properly. The mechanism that allows the window to slide and stay up appeared to be broken. (I’m pretty sure this happened after our house cleaners removed the window to clean it; I think they forced it back into the frame incorrectly.) I called Brothers to see if they might be able to fix or replace it. Tina called me back right away, easily found the paperwork on my windows (impressive!), and told me that this window had a lifetime warranty so they would send someone out to repair it at no charge. She was able to schedule the visit for the following Monday. José showed up on Monday (even a little early) and had the window fixed within ½ hour! He also showed me what had broken and how to properly take the window out and put it back in so it wouldn’t get damaged again. He also rescreened a couple of windows that had been damaged by our cat for a minimal charge. This is absolutely great customer service, and for a great product! Nearly a decade ago Brothers installed twenty-six windows, three sliding doors, and dozens of window casings at our home.  I didn't do a review then because, well, I didn't write reviews; but as I'm searching for contractors to do other work, it occurs to me that they deserve some kudos ... From the sales guy (professional, respectful), to the installation (quick, thorough, and cleaned up afterwards), to the quality (everything still looks and functions as new years and years later), I've got nothing but positive things to say about them.  We could have purchased a cheaper product, but that would have been a mistake for our long-term home; we could have spent more, but given how high their quality is, I can't imagine it would have been better. I would highly recommend Brothers Home Improvement, San Jose location. I got double pane windows installed by Brothers Home Improvement in 2012. They did an excellent job the first time around. After 6 months, I felt one of the windows was not noise-proof enough, and they were willing to upgrade that window to triple pane window, and I only needed to pay the price difference, they were willing to absorb the cost of the wasted double pane window. They made good on their promise and all was sorted. Recently, one of the sliding door locks got damaged, and I emailed them about it. They called me within an hour and scheduled an appointment for me at my convenience. Their technician fixed not only that sliding door, but also checked and fixed another screen door that had been giving some trouble. All this at no cost to me as they said I was covered under their warranty! And they did not ask me for any paper work, proof of purchase, address etc. They just found me in their system by my email and had it all taken care of. Very, very professional. First they show up with a document that shows their contractors license, sales persons License, certificate of Liability Ins. And FAQ, financing...... Did the measuring, quick and easy. 4 week waiting period for windows. Scheduled my instal . They were on time to install a couple of large windows and a small window. The gentlemen arrived and to be honest I was a little skeptical a little ragged looking older guy. I work from home and had some last minute meetings, I explained this to him and he was remarkably quite. Finished the work and the windows look beautiful. He really did a great job. Price was great. It's easy to write a good review for a company when everything goes 100% right. It's rarer to want to do so when your project doesn't go so smoothly. But, in this case, it is a testament to the honesty and integrity of this company and the folks that work there, that I am providing a 5-star review despite some issues. I want to start by saying that every other window company I called either failed to respond to my inquiry or failed to show up on time for appointments to discuss my project. Each told me it was "impossible" to provide an actual appointment time and could only provide broad time windows, which they then decided were potential arrival times which they were late for, then expected me to be available for a further 90 minutes for their sales pitch. In the middle of a workday.  Their receptionists were rude, brusque, and generally appeared not to care. I was not impressed. In contrast, the nice lady who works the phones at Brothers was always warm and friendly when I called. Steven, the sales  guy, made a specific appointment time, arrived on time, and provided a solid, written and emailed quote with options within 45 minutes. He was friendly, knowledgeable, personable, and professional. Brothers was not the cheapest quote I got - nor the most expensive - but this experience alone made me want to go with them. It took me a few months to pull the trigger on my project. When I contacted Steven to move ahead, he honored his quote even though manufacturer pricing had changed. Everything went fantastically and quickly with measuring and getting an installation date. Guys showed up on time for the appointment and they were done in the amount of time they promised, leaving the areas clean. Except I noticed that the wrong grade window had been installed. I called Steven right away and he got back to me within a couple of hours with an immediate apology and two options to compensate me for the mistake, both of which were fair and reasonable. No arguing the toss. I was, again, more than happy. Then, the next issue was/is to do with permits for the small window in one of my bedrooms. It's a long story and, based upon my own research, not Brother's fault BUT never once have I doubted that they would do the right thing to resolve the issue. Both Steven and Steve (installation manager) have been quick to respond to my requests and have promised that, whatever it takes, they will do whatever they need to do to resolve this current challenge. I'm writing this review without a final resolution because I am *that* confident that they will stand by that promise. As for the door and windows I had installed, they're great quality, no issues with installation whatsoever. For a project that has had a few snafus, I could never have imagined writing such a glowing review but it is 100% deserved. This company is THE REAL DEAL. Honesty, integrity, and solid people working for them. You don't find that much these days. If you're thinking of replacing your windows or doors, you need to work with Brother's, PERIOD. Sometimes you learn about a company when things go wrong. When the patio door was delivered the glass broke. Brother got Replacement glass quickly and reinstalled. I own a window and door shop but purchased a home that had windows from Brothers. I had a window fail and they honored a warranty even though I was not the original purchaser and replaced the entire window through the manufacturer. We have needed a screen replacement on the slider (dogs), and their service was timely and courteous. Just had a my 19 windows and 2 sliding glass doors installed.  All three of the installers were professional, friendly, and very thorough with the installation. They even cleaned up all the debris and more.  The windows look amazing and operate flawlessly.  From the initial phone call to set up the free estimate appointment, the in home visit to get the estimate, the official measuring appointment, and then now the install, it's been a first class experience.  The price was less then the others for the same windows.  I reached the Simonton windows we now have and were impressed by the ratings.
